RESTORATION 2011
This is the first of two “aged beers “ that are produced by the brewery . They are kept at a consistent cellar temperature which allows them to develop complexity and richness as time passes. Inspired by the strong beers of the Trappist and abbey breweries in Belgium it is a dark amber beer with flavours of vinous fruit, port, rich malt, floral and herbal hops and a lingering gentle spicy hop finish. This beer was awarded First place in the East Midlands RAIB competition in 2012 then going on as a finalist to the Champion Bottled Beer Of Britain in 2013.

IMPERIAL RUSSIAN STOUT 2011

It is dedicated to the memory of the breweries that once produced this style of beer in vast quantities for export to the Baltic States via the North Sea.

DOUBLE MOMENTUM
This beer was inspired by an English IPA recipe from the 18th Century and packs a big punch from the large amounts of hops used. It’s a pale amber coloured beer with a white head and an aroma of pineapple and melon. The taste is rich malt, vinous fruit and spicy warmth with a dry hoppy, bitter finish. This beer has won Gold once and Bronze twice in the “Strong Ales“ Class at Peterborough Beer Festival, twice been in the last 18 for Champion Bottled Beer Of Britain at GBBF.
Hops: Fuggles and Northern Brewer.
